We were lucky enough to be in Bali while the Oakley Pro was on, so we headed over to Keramas one morning to see if we could get some shots of the pros warming up. Keramas is a right-hand reef break on Bali’s east coast that’s infamously known as the most high performance wave on the island. While contest director Tom Whitaker called a lay day, there were still plenty of waves for the world’s best to hone their progressive air game. John John, Mick Fanning and Miguel Pupo entertained the breakfast crowd at Komune, lighting up Keramas’ famed right hand ramps.

Sitting on the beach at Keramas is Komune – a beach club and resort that caters to the surfer crowd. We spent the morning there working on our tan over breakfast and listening to tunes while chilling out in the pool.
