Today was Good Friday and boy was it goooood. Michaela (TIL Director of Photography) and I spent the morning in Centennial Park learning how to fly a drone with epic wildlife photographer Scott Portelli, before heading down to Bondi to plan adventures over coconut smoothies at our favourite cafe Porch and Parlour. We’re heading to Fiji next month for an exciting project where we’ll be island hopping for two weeks across the South Pacific. With Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia done and dusted, we’re back in tropical adventure mode. Over the next few weeks we’ll be trying not to crash the drone, getting up at the crack of dawn for freediving training, and squeezing in as many surfs as we can.
With ‘work’ done for the day, we caught the last of the sunshine over a seaside skate and impromptu shoot. If that’s not a good Friday, I don’t know what is 😛
