Sailor Jerry opens Hotel Street in Sydney | This Island Life

Oh hell yeah! Our favourite spiced rum brand Sailor Jerry have opened a pop up bar in Sydney and we’re pumped. The venue is in Kings Cross and it’s called Hotel Street. It’s been named after the Hotel Street in Honolulu, Hawaii, which was where legendary tattoo artist Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins set up shop – where sailors came to get ‘screwed, stewed and tattooed’. For five weeks, Sydneysiders can now do the same. With rum-based drinks, live bands, a barber to groom the dudes, an American BBQ menu, limited edition threads and an exhibition of original artwork by Normal Collins, Sailor Jerry fans will feel right at home.

Check out the gig calendar and get yourself a rum.
