Recently there has been a real resurgence in acid-influenced street culture. Be it psychedelic bands like Tame Impala or the grainy, tweaked, colour-effects in everything from design through to surf vids.
French brand Océé (pronounce “o-say”) have certainly found the sweet spot with their range of art prints, bags and fashion. Being an eco-conscious fashion and art label, the acid/flower power influence is certainly a neat fit.
We especially love the art prints, which give a dreamy tripped-out window to a bygone era. Smatterings of modern design and fonts are layered over the saturated colour-toned photos of California, palms and ‘summer of love’ instagrammed goodness.
Further tipping their hat to the flower power generation, Océé are a purveyor of the new Slow Movement, which shuns fast, mass-production and instead promotes sustainable development and environmentally friendly production techniques. It’s all love, baby!
