One of my favourite labels at the moment is Spell and the Gypsy Collective – a Byron Bay-based label that’s doing bohemian-beach-luxe better than anyone. While I pretty much want everything from every collection they release, their latest ‘Island Boho’ collection tipped me over the edge with excitement.
With the incredible Gili Islands in Lombok providing the perfect backdrop, the team at Spell went all out with this shipwrecked Robinson Crusoe-esque shoot – even constructing their own raft. With summery hues like gold dust, opal and turquoise, in textured woven linen and lace, vintage inspired peacock prints, cheesecloth and cottons, the collection looks right at home on the white coral sands and clear aqua waters of Indonesia.
